individual counseling

I charge a fee of $175 per session for individual counseling. I also accept United, Aetna, and Cigna insurance. As an out of network provider I can also offer a superbill for reimbursement for services.

*As part of a gradual transition in my practice, I am no longer accepting new clients who wish to use Blue Cross Blue Shield for therapy services.

If you are an existing client already using this insurance, your benefits will continue to be accepted at this time. Should any future changes occur regarding my insurance participation, I will provide advance notice and support in planning for continuity of care.

Private pay and out-of-network options remain available for new clients.

Clinical supervision

I charge a fee of $125 per hour ($500 total per month) for clinical supervision of LPC Associates.

good faith estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your mental health care will cost.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

If you are not using insurance or are choosing to self-pay, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for counseling services.

This estimate will include:

  • The cost of each session

  • The frequency of services

  • Any other reasonably expected charges

You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment.

Dispute Resolution

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
